Overcoming Busy

I am so excited to have this site up and running!  This has been a dream of mine for quite some time.  Not so much the website, but the opportunity to share that  in this fast paced, hyperlinked, “busy” society – we don’t have to be!!!  How liberating is that?!  We don’t have to do everything, just the most important things.  Its up to you what those are.  My family’s physical, spiritual and mental well being tops  my list (I include “me” in my family!).  Everything else takes a backburner until those are taken care of.  Those closest to me know how passionate I am about this subject.  They, also, know that as much as I try, it is sometimes hard to practice what I preach!  LOL!!!

My goals for this site are to give women resources and experiences from other women to help them move from “busy” to productive.  Most other sites I’ve found tell how some super-human women raise 12 kids, work 50 hours/week, homeschool, make all their kids clothes, grow their own vegetables, volunteer at the local soup kitchen, teach Sunday School, take all kids to 3 different lessons and/or practices, are gourmet cooks, have a spotless house and blog about it all!! That may be an exaggeration, but it may as well have been true.  I had just as much chance measuring up to that as I did the real women on these blogs!  It was hard to find anyone saying it was ok to not do it all and still live a fulfilling life.  Guess what…it is ok!
