A look back at the past week

As I looked back on last week’s posts and saw only 2, I started to get frustrated. When I started this blog a couple months back, my goal was to write at least 4 days per week. And here I see only 2…. Then, I stopped to think why I didn’t post more. Was it because I didn’t have anything to say? No…I always have lots to say! Was it that I have lost the vision of what I want this blog to be and what I hope it accomplishes? No…I try to rid the world of busyness everyday! Was I just too “busy”? Gasp!!!!
The weather here finally warmed up. My 4 year old and I spent lots of time outside. We played, rode bikes, transplanted seedlings, blew bubbles… When my 8 year old came home from school, we went outside or just had fun doing stuff. I cooked meals for the family all week. During the early morning times when I usually write, I read lots of blogs and articles I don’t usually get to.
So, was I too busy? No way! I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing. I was living my life with my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I would have stopped and posted a blog entry, it just would have been busyness.
My challenge to you this week is to take time to see what is going on around you. Is this a week to put some stuff on the backburner and spend some time doing something more important? Sometimes even the good things can make you busy. There are times and seasons for everything. Have a great week and don’t get too busy!

I’m glad you were able to spend the time with your family. We are getting back from 12 days with the in-laws in FL so my writing will be a bit low, as well. I’m trying not to stress about it – just like I’m trying to not stress about my lack of readership. Oy vey! Have a great week!
