Emily- We think a lot alike! I would rather read blogs or Facebook than do housework any day. Some days it is a struggle to get the "boring" stuff done. I have to give myself rewards like - no internet until the floor is mopped or a piece of cheesecake after the toyroom is cleaned and organized. Keep on the lookout for a post on this subject soon. You can subscribe to the feed. Thanks for the idea!

All fine and good, but what if all the tasks (and goals and plans) on one's neatly organized list are ... really boring? Cleaning is just not exciting, nor is organizing and planning. Connecting with other people via hanging out on the internet or Facebook or calling a friend is far more interesting to me, and for better or for worse, I tend to gravitate towards the interesting things. Boredom is what I struggle with. I'd love to hear any ideas you have about dealing with the boring-ness of housekeeping...

I tried using the notebook download from Simple Mom, but it ended up being "too much." I'm trying to create something that works well for me. I'll have to check out these downloads and see if they would work for me.

Thanks for the tips.
