This week I’ve enjoyed reading others blogs and their comments. I have been paying more and more attention to the comments lately. Sometimes the best stuff is in the comments section. That’s the way blogs should be. That is why blogs allow comments. Its meant to be a conversation. Blog posts should stimulate thought and dialogue.
When I first started blogging, I would do what I know now as “lurking”. I would check out an article, look around a bit and then click out without leaving a trace. I admit, sometimes I still do. But, not all the time. I try to leave a quick comment. Even if I don’t have any great insight to add, I know as a blogger how much it means to have someone just stop by and say “I like your blog.” Simple, yet gratifying.
I have added some great blogs to my reader this past week and I am really enjoying them. I need to start adding some more links to my “sites I like” section. If I didn’t have to get the kids to school here shortly, I’d share some of my finds right now. You’ll just have to check back and see what new treasures await!

Chele- Isn’t blogging addictive? And then add the readers… I love it! An entire community is out there I didn’t know about until just a few months ago. I really look forward to learning more everyday through these great sites.
I agree that we should always leave a comment. On Myspace I used to write a blog and I would see all these numbers of people that had read them but didn’t leave a comment. But those who did really made my day

I used to be like you and do a lot of lurking. Every once in a while, I would leave a comment. Now that I have my own blog, I know how gratifying it is to get comments. I love them!
I’m in the process of moving my blog (from Blogger to WordPress). I’m planning on updating my Blogroll once I’ve moved, because I don’t want to do it twice. Your blog will definitely be on that list (if it isn’t already!)
