Ever wonder why some people just take better pictures than you do? Do you wonder if its your camera or the operator of the camera? Do you wonder what all the little functions on your camera actually do, even after you’ve read the manual? Do you have a hard time deciding when to use a flash and when not to? Is your memory card full of pictures you’ve taken and now don’t know what to do with? Are you frustrated by all those missed shots of your adorable little ones?
Welcome to the club! Those are the frustrating questions I have been asking myself for years. I bought a decent camera. I read the manual. I tried to pick up tips from others. My pictures still stunk and I had no idea why. Then came my blogging friend Angie from I’m a Creative Mama. Angie is a talented photographer who posts her gorgeous pictures on her blog. After fielding a slew of photography questions from her readers, she decided to put her knowledge into a e-book, Project Photography, which she unveiled earlier this week. Project Photography single-handedly explained to me, in language I could understand, the mysteries of photography in about 20 minutes.
This is what Angie wrote about the e-book at the launch:
Project Photography was written for the ‘non-photographer’, meaning those of you who love taking pictures but wish you knew just a smidge more about your cameras and how to capture the moments you live each day. Whether you are a mom, wife, college student, or grandmother. You can have a Point & Shoot or a DSLR; some knowledge about your camera, or none at all. Just come with an open mind and your camera batteries charged!
Honestly, I read Project Photography to get some insight on what new camera to buy since mine was obviously getting too old to take good pictures. After reading Project Photography, I couldn’t wait to use my old camera. The book taught me how to use it!
I know you are all ready to hop on over to Project Photography‘s website and download your copy. (Its only $7!!) But, if you can wait and want to WIN A FREE COPY, here’s your chance!!
