My Creative Entrepreneur

My daughter loves to be creative. Since she was very little, she has loved to draw and paint and create. A year or so back she realized she could use her artistic skills for profit! Friends at church noticed her fancy gift bags she was making and offered to by some. Word got around and “Dallas Designs” was born.
A couple months back, my daughter decided to try her hand at jewelry making. She asked for beads for Christmas and started making bracelets and earrings. She was still perfecting her art when the “treasure sale” at church was announced. It was supposed to be a rummage sale, but we asked if she could set up a table for her creations. So, this weekend, we will open “Dallas Designs” for business at the “treasure sale”.
Here are a few of her creations. Not bad for an 8 year old!

As for me, creative? I did look at a magazine and had a THOUGHT of doing something in it but as of yet…I haven’t.

Beautiful stuff! Amazing an 8 year old can do this stuff. I would definitely be willing to buy! Are you going to get an etsy shop started for her? She could be a millionaire before she is 18! I’m serious!

My sister makes jewelry (as a non-profitable hobby) and some of my favorite pieces are ones she has made.
