I think the bigger issue is that these parents, whether by choice or not, are working full time out of the home and are too busy to "raise" their children! It is interesting that they noted that modern diapers are a bit mroe absorbant and don't let the child feel the wetness...I am beginning to think this could be part of the reason my 3 year old is showing no interest in potty-anything. We'll start pre-school in the fall and then see if peer-pressure gets the better of him. Interesting story.
