I am a strong believer in reading people's actions, not their words. I really couldn't care less if my husband buys me flowers or candy (ok, I like candy) bc I know that, on any old Tuesday, he'll do an extra load of laundry if it'll help me. That's love in action. The only thing I'd add is it always surprises me how many people *don't* say I love you, even as part of their routine. I definitely want the focus to be on showing my husband that I love him, but saying it often is important to me too! (Of course, it wouldn't matter if we said it if weren't showing it, which I think is your point, LOL! It's just something I was thinking about because I recently I heard someone say they don't say it that often.) Great reminder, as always, Marci!
