The Article Club – Week 9
June 4, 2010 by Marci
Did the three day weekend throw anyone else off this week? I sat down this morning to decide which article to highlight this week for Article Club. I usually do this on Thursday and in my mind it was Thursday! So, I am a bit behind on the Article Club post this week.
So, for those of you who are new to the Article Club, it is kind of like a book club with a lot less reading! I feature a new article or blog post each week that I found particularly interesting and then I link to that article. You go there and read it and come back here and discuss it in the comments. Let me know what you thought about the article or what struck a chord with you. Easy!
This week’s article is Teaching Kids The Art Of Decision Making at Zen Family Habits. Usually I start out the discussion with some insight, but I don’t want to put ideas in your head. I want to hear from you. Did you like this article? Do you agree with author? Do you or would you do any of the tips mentioned in the article?
Happy Reading!

Liked the article. I was reminded that we are in need of a mission statement within our family. That’s something we need to accomplish this year to help in our decision making. But I was also encouraged that we are doing some of these things already with our children. I thought of my dad when it talked about making bad choices. That’s one thing I appreciated about him. As long as we weren’t harming ourselves physically he allowed us to mess up so we could learn from it. I am grateful for that.
