Kids Morning and Bedtime Routine Chart

August 23, 2011 by

My son is like his mama. He likes order and lists. He needs to know what is expected of him or he goes his own way. Sound like anyone in your house? That’s why lists are so important to us. With school back in session, my little guy needs some routine back in his bedtime and morning. He is more apt to cheerfully finish tasks on a list, than to follow orders I bark out.

To help him out, I made these simple charts and hung them on his wall. The only problem is that he wants to check them off when he does them, so I am going to have to laminate them so he can use a dry erase marker on them.

They are simple, but why make things more complicated than they need to be? Feel free to click on the docs below to print them off for yourself!

I love a good printable! Checking things off a list gives me such a feeling of accomplishment, and oddly, doing the same thing on an app on my phone really doesn’t. Weird, huh?
