Outdated Clutter

This was delivered to the door yesterday.

What do I do with it? Does anyone in this age of Google still use a phone book? Do you have a phone book? Do you use it?

Me thinks it’s just clutter.

This makes me wonder. What else am I keeping around just because I always have even though I don’t use it?

What outdated clutter are you holding onto?

  1. I’ve wondered why they continue to print and deliver them!

I confess to plenty of clutter, but I toss the phone books immediately upon receipt, I wish I could cancel “my subscription”, or something, it just seems so wasteful…

  2. You can cancel them. After canceling mine, I now only get a postcard telling me how to order a phone book should I change my mind. It’s so much nicer recycling a post card than a several pound book!! :)

When I first tried to cancel my deliveries several years ago, there wasn’t an easy way to find a number/website to cancel the darn things. Thankfully, they are making it easier now. :)

  3. I keep the phonebook each year. And I use it. I suppose I’m not quite as tech-dependent as I think I am. I had never thought about it until I read this post.
